Yeah I'm really bothered by the framing in our Western culture, which is like a strange blend of romance culture and productivity culture that says that you have to be "always on" or something is wrong. But life doesn't work that way. People get tired, we get worn down, we get exhausted, especially in this economy, especially if they're single parents or if you add kids into the mix. I think we should start taking a more practical and scientific approach than a romantic and fantastical one.
