I am a card-carrying member of GenX. We grew up before having a therapist was normalized. Millennials and Gen Z have grown up with a certain sense of acceptance that being in tune with your emotions is a good thing. Gen X men were told that being sensitive or emotional made them sissies. Younger men care far less about that bullshit.
