This moment in time is insane. It reminds me of the Bubonic plague a little bit, with the flagellants, people wanting to murder the Jews believing they're poisoning the water, lancing the buboes, bloodletting, and leeches. It's what happens when people who don't understand scientific thinking are grasping at straws.

There were some medieval people who understood though. Even as early as Justinian, in the early Medieval period, some people were smart enough to quarantine. They understood. I don't know why these facts make me feel oddly better about it all.
