This is an excellent article, and I think it speaks to a lot of the frustration and anger Gen X men are feeling right now. They grew up under the impression that the simple fact of them being male and breadwinners (most of them can barely do that) would land them all the lovin' they could ever ask for.

I feel like the cutoff point will be middle Millennials, at which point, people will just mostly date whomever they want. We've learned that the Gen X brand of irresponsibility-as-identity just isn't cool.

We're so frickin' tired of destructive lifestyles.
