L.J., fascinating writings, indeed. I can't say for sure whether sexuality plays a role. My hunch is, yes, it does, but at the same time, hunches can be misleading. Personally, I've done both FMF and MFM a lot and ten times out of ten I find MFM more enjoyable (though I wouldn't turn down a FMF, if you catch my drift). Yet, I'm a boring ole' straight guy, so you'd figure I'd be much more interested in FMF.
The tempo, the intensity, the relaxed atmosphere of MFM is just much more conducive to what I'm looking for out of sex. Of course, that requires two partners who are trusting and aren't at all homophobic (which is why friends and lovers are usually the best, in my view). I guess what I'm saying is there are a lot of factors that influence our desires, and sexual orientation is just one component.
I can see how women's bisexuality may play a role in what they want out of a threesome. I'll do some digging, but the research is scant on sexual orientation and threesome preferences. If I come up with anything juicy to write up, I'll definitely remember to tag you. Thank you so much for reading and your feedback.
