Hey GutsGuts, thanks for reading and taking the time to comment. I sincerely appreciate both, more than you know; though I would love to hear what's so naively optimistic about it.

In a nutshell, if 63% of people say they're single, and 79% of those people say they're not looking for a relationship, sounds like there isn't much of a crisis of single people.

If the myth tells us that digital technologies are driving our loneliness, and that they can infer this from the fact that marriage age has risen, why did marriage rates start rising in about 1960, long before digital technologies were invented?

These cruxes of the myth really need to be explained and no one has explained them (because they can't be explained—hence why it's a myth).

Regarding my friend, our relationship wasn't based on war stories and dialogues about the past. We talked about other things and it's been quite some time, so, I've honestly forgotten which war. Point is, the guy was in combat and has seen some things I can't even begin to imagine. Does which war really matter? No, no it does not. That's just a label on a man's experiences.

Anyways, if you have any further questions, I'd be glad to clear them up for you.

Thanks again for reading and taking the time to comment.

Cheers,

Joe
