Excellent piece. This reminds me of when YouTube got everyone used to "free" videos with ads and then suddenly found it extremely difficult to flip flop and start charging people a monthly fee...only the results are deadly. The silence that foreshadowed the sudden U-turn spoke volumes, paving the way for a near impossible turnaround, like an 18-wheeler trying to do a U-turn in a busy, narrow road. And now, just like that 18-wheeler, they're stuck. Their base is getting sick and people are dying here in Florida in astronomical numbers. This can't bode too well for them in the long run.
