Christopher, thanks for the feedback. All of this is 100% true. You won't get any argument from me here. Unfortunately, I only have so many words and sometimes have to pick the most important points I want to convey in the moment.

For a more in-depth look at the subject, I've covered it here:

https://medium.com/sexography/the-biological-reason-sex-becomes-a-chore-in-long-term-relationships-3fea2eca853

Swinging, open relationships, and sometimes, yes, sadly, splitting up, are also options. It all depends on what the people involved want and what they ultimately choose.

Of course, there are also other problems that crop up that aren't so simple to fix. Things like depression, stress, burnout, children, and disability, all can wreak havoc on a sex life. But alas, those are topics that will have to wait for another article.

As for solutions: these days, many people are turning to testosterone supplementation (or TRT more generally), for better or worse. Seeing as it's often a hormonal issue, this makes sense, though I won't say it's a good thing as I haven't fully investigated it yet, and I've learned to keep my trap shut when I don't know what I'm talking about. It's just the smart play.

Thank you so much for reading. I sincerely appreciate it.
