Awesome article. I have a Substack with a following I'm pleased with and proud of. I have made it a point to resist publishing all the time just to publish something. I feel it's been a wiser choice. People who love you enough to subscribe are going to stick by you over time. You might lose the people who are expecting a constant fix, but that's okay. I'd rather have 1,000 loyal subscribers than 10,000 whimsical, fleeting content-junkies waiting to jump ship at a moment's notice.
